About this event

Join us for class 4 of 4 to be hosted at Trust HQ at Pinderfields Hospital. (Follow maps directions to 'Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust HQ').


This session will include:

  • What does your baby need?​
  • Responding to your baby, skin to skin, safe sleeping​.
  • Nappy changing & bathing​
  • Feeding your baby

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OTHER CLASSES IN THIS SERIES NEED TO BE BOOKED SEPERATELY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND.

Please book only ONE ticket. This will admit you and ONE companion.

Spaces are limited, therefore please only book a place if you are certain that you can attend and please CANCEL your place via Eventbrite if you cannot attend.

PLEASE book in the pregnant persons name.

These classes are for women and partners booked to have their baby with Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust or who see a Mid Yorkshire Community Midwife but are having their baby elsewhere. If you do not fit this criteria your booking will be cancelled

Yes, you can park in the visitors car park but you will have to pay.

The content covered in the face-to-face classes are:

  • Class 1 - labour and birth.
  • Class 2 - Induction and interventions (assisted birth&caesarean).
  • Class 3 - early days with your baby and expectations of newborns.
  • Class 4 - infant feeding and practical baby cares.

*PLEASE note that there is no online class 4, as online class 3 covers the same content as face-to-face class 3&4*

*The full day Saturday class covers the same content as class 1,2,3 and 4*
