Leicester LGBT Centre is pleased to be able to offer some face-to-face groups for people who cannot access digital services and need our support in person. Places in these groups are strictly limited and booking is essential. When requesting a place in the group, you will be asked some eligibility questions; please make sure these are answered in full to give us the information we need to ensure we're offering the right services. Unfortunately due to social distancing requirements, we may not be able to offer a place to everyone and spaces will be allocated based on need in an equitable first come first serve process. This may mean that you could be placed on a waiting list to be contacted if a spot opens up, you may be offered an alternative date to attend, or other arrangements may be made.

As spaces are so limited, if you find that you can no longer attend a session, please let us know as soon as possible to enable us to offer your place to someone else.

Our full COVID-19 risk assessment is available on our website (link below), which applies to all users of the Leicester LGBT Centre. Please familiarise yourself with some of the key points prior to accessing sessions:

• You must not attend if anyone in your household displays symptoms of COVID- 19 (Coronavirus).
• Please consider your transport to the centre carefully, travelling alone or in household groups, and maintaining social distancing/wearing face coverings where required.
• Everyone entering the building over the age of 11 is expected to wear a face covering upon entry and for the duration of their visit. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, you can still attend but please contact us before attending to discuss this so we can make appropriate arrangements.
• All centre users must maintain 2 metre social distancing at all times.
• Please sanitise your hands upon entry and regularly during your visit. (we have provided hand sanitiser at reception, in all rooms and on every floor).
• Leicester LGBT Centre will be operating the NHS COVID-19 track & trace system for all centre users and visitors.

Should you feel unable to fulfil these requirements, please contact us about meeting your needs in another way (online or by telephone). Anyone unable to respect our guidelines and risk management processes will be asked to leave in order to protect staff and other centre users as best we can.

As you will be aware, the environment we are operating in is constantly changing, and as such we continue to constantly evaluate and adapt our delivery. This means that things may change as we figure out what does and doesn’t work, and we always welcome both your feedback and your patience and understanding throughout this process. We will keep you updated about these changes and endeavour to give as much notice as possible when we know services are moving to a different delivery level. Obviously, there may be times when restrictions are put in place at short notice in line with government & local guidelines and we will once again, communicate this as soon as we can.
