Facebook and LinkedIn for Business - An Introduction on How to Maximise these Platforms

“I need to advertise more on Facebook”, “I must post more on LinkedIn”. Many business owners feel this way, based on what everyone else is doing around them - but not every business is the same. Each business needs to market in the right way for their audience, and this isn't the same for every business or service.

In this workshop, we will help explain each digital channel, how it can be used, so you can make a decision if it is right for you and your business.

We will look specifically at Facebook & LinkedIn.

Who is this for?

Owners or the persons responsible for digital marketing for businesses who either already or want to start marketing online through specifically LinkedIn and Facebook. Ideally, you will have already made yourself a LinkedIn or Facebook account and business pages or profile on these sites prior to this event.

This course, as with all the New Anglia Growth Hub events, is suited and intended for businesses already running and established. Please refer to courses by NWES if you are in Norfolk and MENTA if you are in Suffolk for courses more suited for those businesses who are pre-start or have been trading for less than 12 months.

Funded by the European Regional Development (ERDF) Fund, this rare opportunity is free to attend! One representative per company, please.

FAQs

I want to book for more than one person from my company?

Due to the popularity of these events, we are only able to allow one person from each company to attend. If you would like any extras to attend please email naghmarketing@newanglia.co.uk and we will keep you on a waiting list for any remaining seats a couple of days before the event.

How to get to the event?

Getting here by public transport can be difficult, so please contact the venue for the best advice.

The venue is on Felixstowe Road. Please be careful if you use a Sat Nav as this can try and take you onto the A14.

If coming from Ipswich you can either come past Trinity Park towards the Sainsbury at Warren's Heath and towards the Seven Hills Crematorium. The turning for Three Rivers Business centre isn't particularly signposted, but as you approach the bridge over the A14 you will see a sign on your left for Toad Hall. Turn left in front of this sign and immediately left again and this is the business park. If you go to the Seven Hills you have gone too far, go round at the roundabout completely and come back and follow the below instructions.

If you are coming along the A14 from Bury or Colchester, take Junction 58 to Lowestoft. At the roundabout go Right and take the 4th exit A1156 Felixstowe Road. As you go along this road the Seven Hills Crematorium will be on your right, carry on and you will see the bridge to cross the A14. As you go over this bridge you will see the sign for Toad Hall on your right. Turn in here and turn immediately left into the business centre.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available on site and is free, however, please ensure you park behind the building in front of you as you drive past the IKON Academy building to your right. Behind this building are free parking spaces, please do not park in any that have a name on the space as these are the company spaces allocated for each unit.

Please contact the venue for any more questions regarding location and parking.
