About this event

Facebook, as one of the most prominent social media platforms, can help charities of all sizes to connect with their audience and win support. The ‘personal’ nature of Facebook is particularly valuable for non-profits with a compelling story to share.

However, frequent algorithm updates, declining organic reach, coupled with increasingly fierce competition and crowded space, can make it difficult for a charity to stand out on Facebook.

This interactive, 3-hour workshop will help your organisation to make an impact on Facebook. You will gain valuable knowledge and ideas, from learning about page set up and optimization, through discovering Facebook Fundraising tools, to tried and tested strategies for building an engaged community of supporters.

Workshop Contents

  1. Page Set Up and Optimisation
  2. Tools and Strategies for Boosting Donations
  3. Building an Engaging Presence: Content and Engagement Strategies

Workshop Audience

This workshop will be particularly useful for those charities and community groups that currently do not use Facebook or who use it in a limited way and would like to make better use of this medium to successfully engage supporters and donors.
