Event description

Description

This session, with Professor Gregory Sporton, will be about presenting your work in public and dealing with the dynamics of the conference room. You will learn about how to structure, present and defend your arguments against the most curmudgeonly of encrusted researchers, and emerge intact; head held high and message communicated. All researchers now are judged on their ability to hold a room and to express their ideas, and it is a skill no researcher can be without. The session will include some hints and tips on finding your own voice when engaging with ideas in public, and practical exercises for improving your performance.

Please note that this workshop is intended for University of Greenwich PGR students within FACH only. If you are not a reserach student within this Faculty then please email us at FACH_PGResearch@greenwich.ac.uk
