Presenter: Dr Aimee Blackledge, LDC Development Team

Taking on the role of facilitator in meetings may seem daunting, but it provides valuable leadership experience.

During this workshop, we will discuss the different types of meetings and explore ways to organise and facilitate them. We will specifically focus on establishing objectives for meetings, methods of encouraging attendees to engage with interactive tasks and dealing with potential problems.

You are strongly recommended to attend the webinar, ‘Introduction to Facilitation in the Research Environment’ prior to your attendance at this workshop. This workshop is open to all and also contributes to the programme of workshops available for those applying for the Development Tutor Scheme.

This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains D1 and D2.

Registration: You are recommended to use your university of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
