Would you like to advance your skills to lead meaningful discussions or enhance public engagement in your organisation or community?
Involve is hosting comprehensive awareness training workshops - Facilitating Public Engagement and Public Engagement Training - designed to equip you with the tools to guide effective group interactions and strengthen democratic processes.
This workshop is for leaders, public engagement officers, and facilitators working in public engagement looking to learn more about core facilitation principles, skills, tools and techniques in the public engagement space.
Facilitating Public Engagement is a 3.5-hour interactive online session, to be held three times throughout 2025:
- Thursday 10th April 2025.
- Thursday 10th July 2025.
- Thursday 13th November 2025.
The session is open to all and will offer you the chance to develop your skills and understanding of facilitating public engagement, and equitable engagement principles and tools from Involve practitioners and experts.
As a result of this session you will:
- Develop your understanding of the underpinning principles of facilitation and the role of a facilitator in public engagement.
- Build your confidence in setting up the conditions for constructive conversations.
Our training offer is based on our two decades of experience delivering participatory, dialogue and deliberative public engagement processes that work for both commissioning institutions, and the members of the public and actors they want to engage with.
Facilitating Public Engagement will take place via Zoom.
The cost for the workshop is set on a sliding scale.
- Private Sector - £260.00 per person
- Public Sector - £220.00 per person
- Third Sector - £180.00 per person
- Individual/Sole Trader - £120.00 per person
