Event description

Description

Agile is on the market over 15 years and it has matured, it is not a trend anymore. Agile has many different angles and is applied across the globe both in- and outside the world of IT. After the first wave with a focus on small teams now more and more individuals and organisations are aware you need to have a vision on your corporate approach for Agile, how to become Agile, how to integrate teams and make sure the organisation is facilitated in working Agile all the way from business strategy deep down to detailed delivery.

In this process more and more people are aware of the essential role of high quality sessions and here we get into a grey zone. Too often Agilists facilitate not understanding the skills needed for facilitation and also too often facilitators are asked into Agile organisations not really understanding the concept and essence of Agile.

Arie van Bennekum, as one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto and early adopter of the IAF-competencies for facilitation, has combined both areas, Agile and Facilitation, for over 2 decades. After this training the participants will have an understanding on the application of facilitation skills in Agile environments and will get hands-on knowledge on ready to use tools to help them on their daily tasks.

The outline of the two days are as follows:
