Join CIPR Wessex for a visit to the RNLI - the charity that saves lives at sea.

About this Event

Please note this event has been rescheduled from 19 March to 8 October 2020.

Join CIPR Wessex for a visit to the RNLI in Poole, starting with a tour of the RNLI College and Sea Survival Centre (including a chance to crew the lifeboat simulator) followed by a talk and Q&A with Isla Reynolds, Strategic Media Engagement Manager at the RNLI, and members of the communications team.

Isla will talk about her team's response to national newspapers' criticism of the charity's international drowning prevention projects and how they turned the tide of opinion on social media to earn a new wave of public support.
