Will the cafe be open during the workshop?

The cafe will be open until 19:00, so attendees are encouraged to make purchases before the workshop start time at 18:30.

Question 3

What should I bring to the workshop?

Please bring something to write with. A laptop or journal and pen/pencil are fine; what matters is that you are comfortable when writing!

I've never written poetry/prose before. Can I still join?

Yes! All are experience levels are welcome, though due to subject matter of some of the work we will look at and share, we recommend attendees are at least 16 years of age.

Question 5

I want to attend but the time doesn't work for me. Is there another opportunity?

In case you are in London, Pip and Demi are teaching the same workshop at the Feminist Library in Peckham. We hope you can join!

Question 6

What language will the workshop be conducted in?

Accepted Answer

English, though Demi can also give some feedback in German. Attendees are welcome to write in any language. The workshop is suitable for writers of all experience levels and is not constrained to any one genre.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Full refunds are available up to five days before the event. After this, refunds can only be made in exceptional circumstances. Due to demand for workshop spaces and the investment made by both teachers to run these workshops, we cannot always accommodate last-minute refund requests.
