L J Millington are a family owned specialist silverware manufacturer based in Birmingham whose skilled team of craftsmen have over 200 years experience in the silversmithing trade and whose services include everything from initial design through to spinning, polishing, silver plating, engine turning and engraving.

Owner Stephen Millington, will lead us on a tour of the factory floor, where we will have an opportunity to see some of these incredible traditional craft skills in action and learn more about the possibilities that they offer for creative work on different scales. As always there will also be plenty of opportunity for questions.

This event is supported by Arts Council England and designed for artists, designers and other creatives. Please note that for security reasons you will be required to bring photo ID with you for this visit. Advance booking is essential.
