Overview

For this session we're learning from Forth Valley Sensory Centre around their SustaiAble for All project, accessible eco-trail mapping

Fair and Inclusive Climate Action: Learn from existing projects how to make sure climate projects are welcoming, accessible, and relevant to everyone in your community.

Welcome to our speakers;

Forth Valley Sensory Centre Terms like eco-friendly, climate change, and sustainability are everywhere in today’s conversations — and for good reason. The message is clear: our planet is in danger, and it’s up to all of us to help protect it.

But what happens when access to clear, practical information on climate change and sustainable living isn’t available to everyone?

For many people in our communities living with sight or hearing loss, finding and engaging with environmental initiatives can be a real challenge. From understanding local projects to getting involved in sustainability efforts, the barriers to inclusion are significant — and often overlooked.

That’s why Forth Valley Sensory Centre, in support of the Scottish Government’s Public Engagement Strategy for Climate Change, has partnered with Forth Environment Link to create SustainAble For All.

Listen in with your lunch and ask our panel questions for a short discussion.
