Fair Education Alliance Annual Summit

Tuesday 9th July 2024 | 9:30-17:00 | Allen & Overy, London

What is the Fair Education Summit?

Our Fair Education Summit is the single biggest gathering of leaders working to make education fairer in England. In this General Election year, come together to create an education system that ensures every child thrives.

Why attend?

🤝 Elevate your network: Strengthen your relationships to collaborate with key policymakers, businesses, third sector leaders, young people and school and trust leaders all working to make education fair

💡Ignite inspiration: Hear about and learn from those already driving change through impactful advocacy and collective action

🌱 Be part of the change: Further align and better understand the FEA’s shared goals for influencing policy, and plan how we will continue to drive system change together and individually

Who should attend?

✅ One senior leader from each of our member organisations. This should be the CEO or someone with strategic oversight of policy or programmes

✅ Other key stakeholders by invitation

Why now?

This gathering has never been more needed. With a General Election this year, prospective governments are setting forth their visions for our education system. But the challenges they will face are immense:

📉 the attainment gap has never been greater
📚 the wellbeing of school staff and young people is a huge concern
🌍young people themselves have decreasing confidence that their education is preparing them for life
🚸child poverty continues to rise whilst services are unable to meet demand.

Innovation and collaboration are essential to meeting these challenges. Our members and other organisations are already working together to develop solutions, and our Fair Education Summit presents an opportunity to spread expertise and fresh ideas across the sector and to decisionmakers.

Our focus this year will be on connecting the expertise across our membership to policy, so more children and young people everywhere can benefit from a fairer education system.
