Description

Fair Luxury at the RCA will be an opportunity for anyone working in or connected to the jewellery industry to hear about and discuss the opportunities and issues around ethical sourcing.

The day will include presentations from practicing jewellers, staff working in certification programmes, gem traders, consultants and researchers working on artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM).

Speakers will include:

Can I turn up on the day without booking?

No, all attendees will have to book and show their Eventbrite booking receipt to gain entry to the Darwin Building.

How do I find the Darwin Building?

The Darwin Building is the 1960s dark brick tower block next to the Albert Hall.

Where is the Jay Mews entrance?

The Jay Mews entrance is on the opposite side of the Darwin Building from the Albert Hall.

How can I get to the Royal College of Art using public transport?

You can catch a No9, No10, No52 or No452 bus to the Albert Hall bus stops outside or near the Darwin Building, or walk from either South Kensington or High Street Kensington underground stations (both are a 15 minutes walk away). https://www.rca.ac.uk/contact-us/maps-visiting/

Will the event include lunch?

A buffet lunch will be provided as part of the ticket price.

Will there be opportunities to talk to the speakers?
