What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing, activities could include sports/games, roll-play etc. Depending on the weather forecast you may also need a sunhat/sunscreen or wet weather clothing etc.

Is lunch provided?

Snacks and lunch will be provided, you are welcome to send your child with additional food (bear in mind we are a nut-free school).

What activities will my child be doing?

We work in partnership with youth organisations and expert providers to deliver a week full of activities to help prepare your child for starting FHS in September. This includes games, sports, art, performing arts, e-safety and team-building. Additional information is available on our website.

Question 4

What if my child cannot attend everyday?

Whilst children benefit from attending all days of FHS Moving Up, we understand that they may have other commitments, so this may not be possible. Please note that the price of the week remains the same regardless of how many days can be attended.

Question 5

What time does FHS Moving Up run each day?

Children should arrive for an 8:45am start, the day will finish at 3:00pm.

Question 6

What should I bring with me on the day?

Please bring a labelled refillable water bottle, we would rather fizzy drinks were not bought onto site.

Question 7

What if my child is ill and cannot attend?

Accepted Answer

Please email FHSMovingUp@Fairfield.excalibur.org.uk if your child is unwell and cannot attend so we know they are safe. Unfortunately refunds cannot be given if your child is unwell as the price is for the whole week regardless of how many days they actually attend.

My child requires medication during the day, what should I do?

Please include information about medication in the booking form, if it is a new condition and was not known about at the time of booking please email FHSMovingUp@Fairfield.excalibur.org.uk with all the necessary information. Please ensure your child brings all necessary medication each day.

My child no longer needs their place on FHS Moving Up, how do I cancel?

Instructions on how to cancel will be on the receipt you receive from EventBrite, you can cancel up to Sunday 20th July.
