Mischief and magic NEVER to be taken lightly... Let storytellers Jon and Aela lead you a merry dance through fairy folktales from the ages.
About this event
The Wee Folk, the Peaceful Ones, the Gentry, the Tylwyth Teg... whatever their name, you better watch your step. World folklore is soaked in tales of fairy beings, and the blessings - and curses - that they bring. Tonight oral storytellers Jon Mason and Aela Norman-Mason share a specially-chosen selection of fairy folktales from the British Isles and neighbouring lands, exploring all the magic, the danger, the dearest hopes and darkest fears that these mysterious beings hold for us.
Gather salt and rowan. Check the horseshoe above the door. Keep your loved ones close, and mind your manners. See you online.
All ages welcome, and only one ticket needed per household. This event is happening via Zoom: we'll start the call around 7:25pm UK time, for a prompt start at 7:30pm.
