Event description

Description

We are delighted to invite you to St Andrew's church's first Fairtrade Bistro, which takes place on Friday 27th October, 6.30 - 9pm.

As usual, diners will be presented with a tempting 3-course menu of tasty homemade meals, but for this special Fairtrade Bistro, our chefs will be using fair trade ingredients wherever possible.

Items from the menu will include:

  • Jamie Oliver's Liberation nut roast, using fairtrade quinoa, apricots, cashews, walnuts, brazil nuts and olive oil

  • fairtrade honey-glazed pork, cooked with fair trade apricots

  • macaroni cheese, using pasta made from fairtrade quinoa and durum-wheat

  • baked fairtrade bananas drizzled with Divine dark chocolate, and fairtrade chocolate orange mousse torte

  • fair trade hors d'oeuvres, fairtrade coffee and a selection of chocolates

There will also be a fun fair trade quiz, informative displays, world music and a chance to win a hamper full of fair trade treats.

Meal prices wil vary between £10 - £15. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol (BYOB)

Book your Fairtrade Bistro entry ticket here and pay for meal on the night.
