Join storyteller Pat Renton as we take a walk through the woods listening to fairy stories. We will make tiny fairy houses for the creatures from the stories to live in.
There will be something to take home with you for each child taking part.
The session is suitable for children aged 5 to 13 years. Please note that there is some walking involved and stiles and bridges in the woods so regrettably no pushchairs. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 2 adults to 1 child.
Please come along dressed for the weather with suitable footwear for a walk in the woods. Clothing covering legs would be advisable.
Please meet in the car park of Tanfield Lea Club.
This is a free event which has been funded as part of a programme of community events by Stanley AAP Small Grants Fund.
Many thanks to Tanfield Lea Club for the use of their facilities.
