Faith, Hope, Love & a lot of Joy!

About this event

“Twinkle lights are the perfect metaphor for joy. Joy is not a constant. It comes to us in moments—often ordinary moments. Sometimes we miss out on the bursts of joy because we’re too busy chasing down extraordinary moments. Other times we’re so afraid of the dark that we don’t dare let ourselves enjoy the light. A joyful life is not a floodlight of joy. That would eventually become unbearable. I believe a joyful life is made up of joyful moments gracefully strung together by trust, gratitude, inspiration, and faith.” Brene Brown

We’re hoping this year’s fx Community Gathering will provide a little oasis and some bright lights of joy in these dark times. During this two day online gathering we will journey together through the themes of faith, hope and love, interspersed with a bit of fun! From Deep Talk in the wilderness to ‘Caroloke’, we hope there will something for your brain, your heart and your soul. This year’s gathering will include a variety of offerings, from games, to poetry writing, mindfulness,, to conversations, stories, reflections and talks from across the breadth of fresh expressions movement and outside of it….even kite flying! We hope you will join us, throw yourself into all that we have planned and leave equipped, connected and with a smile on your face.

We will gather from Thursday 3rd Dec at 1.45pm til 5.15pm, and then from 7.30 – 9.00pm (See note 1 below). On Friday 4th Dec we will start at 9.30 and aim to finish by 1.30pm with a shared lunch.
