PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE FOR THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED TO: The Hope Centre, Sparkbrook Street, Coventry, CV1 5LB. We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences.
This event is affiliated to our Coventry Educational Conference on tackling Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) in faith communities, which is part of the city's Inter-faith Week events. It is exclusive to national multi-faith leaders, especially those who have participated in our initiative throughout the year. Because of the purpose of this event, we will be joined by high profile central government officials and social action champions.
Our aim for the Faith Leader's Ceremony is to richly inspire national multi-faith leaders to start taking the lead in eradicating DVA in our society today, beginning in faith communities; and to embark on practical social action that contributes long term benefits. Activities during the evening will include a declaration to a zero tolerance of any form of DVA, especially Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Forced Marriages (FM).
This ground breaking ceremony will be held at The Welcome Centre, 47 Parkside, Coventry, West Midlands, CV1 2HG, as a conclusion to our series of conferences across the Midlands this year. There will be speeches from high thinkers and thought provoking orators, and light refreshments, in addition to the signing of the declaration.
We therefore warmly invite all national multi-faith leaders to join us at this fringe event, that will incredibly drive for multi-faith communities to lead in the eradication of DVA, bringing a lasting transformation.

When & Where
We are particularly dedicated to assisting adult & child survivors of Domestic Violence & Abuse (DVA), from diverse backgrounds, to rebuild & restore their lives, after they flee from the radically devastating complex experiences of DVA. We vitally focus on empowering them to reach their full potential, thereby experience the fullness of life.
In addition, we have a specialist service targeted at educating, equipping, & empowering faith communities to respond effectively to DVA cases that occur within their environment. This includes radically challenging perpetrators. More information available at www.kahrmelwellness.com.
