Lawyers operate in a competitive marketplace, and an adversarial justice system, in which even one’s friends today can be one’s opponents tomorrow.

For decades the LCF has confounded the individualism and competitiveness of law by bringing Christian brothers and sisters together for Bible study, prayer, and mission.

This Autumn we want to help our members think through how they can best minister to each other and to our neighbours in the law and beyond. With the help of Edward Welch’s brilliant book Side by Side, we will consider how we can move beyond the superficialities of networking to truly walk alongside each other and share each other’s burdens through word and actions.

Each session will include an introductory talk and a discussion which will be accessible to all – so don’t worry of you haven’t been able to read the book in advance of the meeting.

We warmly encourage you to attend both the online sessions and the session at the National Conference/AGM. However, if you cannot commit to both or are not sure about availability for the Conference, you are welcome to register for either.
