In this open day Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC will give you a tour of the STS Foobank Farm, discuss how and why they set up our community interest company, as well as highlighting the social aims of their food production project.

They will go on to discuss their Kinneil Recycling Project and how it provides measurable carbon abatement for the local area through the production of biochar, compost and vermicompost. They will also show that their sustainable model also supports their foodbank farm project by creating useful resources from waste products.

At the end of the open day, all attendees will have the opportunity to make homemade pizzas in the stone-bake pizza oven!

This workshop will take place in STS Foodbank Farm within the Kinneil Walled Garden, near Kinneil Museum.
