Falling Foss for Tea? Guided Walk
Wed 17 May 2017, 10:00 – 13:00 BST
Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme. Join Les and Margie Atkinson on a 6-mile wander through bluebell woods, over moorland, past waterfalls and a hermitage with a story, a moorland cross, a coal pit, an old shepherd’s dwelling and the site of a long-gone shooting lodge.
We finish at a hidden woodland tea garden. Steep strenuous sections and stiles.
Packed lunch required.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Sorry, no dogs. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
