Families in Nature with Carnegie Library

By TCV Scotland

Overview

TCV and Carnegie Library are hosting a series of four events for families that want to connect to Ayr's local nature and biodiversity

This event is possible thanks to funding received from the Ayrshire Climate Hub

Over four engaging sessions, we will explore Ayr's local biodiversity. Each session will be dedicated to one of the following topics: trees, mammals, bugs, and birds.

This event is open to all ages, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

What to wear – Please check the weather; we will be outside and walking through muddy areas, so wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Where to meet – Meet in the entrance hall of Carnegie Library by 10:30. We will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes for latecomers, after which we will leave the library to travel to the activity area.

Note: The topics have not been assigned to specific dates to allow for flexibility regarding the weather. For example, if we planned the tree identification session for 7th February and ended up with a yellow weather warning, the session would need to be cancelled.
