An afternoon of fun nature based activities for autistic or socially anxious children and their families.
We will start by meeting the CoRE team at the Oak Cabin which will act as our base for the afternoon. The Oak Cabin has toilet and kitchen facilities. The children will have the choice of 3 activities, which can be completed in any order.
Activities:
- Seasonal woodland crafts in the Spinney
- Outdoor cooking
- Foraging skills
Please dress appropriately for the weather with wellies, waterproofs and plenty of layers! It's a good idea to wear long trousers and socks to avoid ticks.
If you have not visited CoRE before, please leave plenty of time to find it so we can start at 1pm. The postcode is BA22 9QU - look for large white sign with green writing for Core Projects. Parking is free.
The cost for this activity is £7 per child and £4 for additional siblings. If family finances are tight, please message Clare on clare@ascapegroup.org for a discount code
Places are limited to 16 children after which we will have a waiting list.
