Join our Wilder Learning Officer Aimi and learn how to create a handmade Autumnal Wreath. We will start looking closely at the shape and structure of leaves through a range of mixed media recording techniques and then using a specially adapted felting needle and eco felting pads learn how to needle felt a selection of Autumnal leaves from Merino wool. We will then learn some simple embroidery stitiches to embellish and adorn the leaves and create some additional autumnal felted items to add to the wreath.
Suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years, who may be accompanied by a parent or guardian who does not need a ticket. If the adult would like to make their own wreath please add addtional adult tickets.

What to bring/wear: All equipment and materials will be provided. Price doesn’t include refreshments, so bring a drink & snack, or Lime Kiln café at the Centre will be open from 10am to 4pm for refreshments and lunch.
Accessibility: We use accessible paths where possible, however our outdoor activities may not always be suitable for those with restricted mobility. If this might be an issue, contact us before booking and we'll do our best to support you. Our toilet facilities will be available, if needed, at the beginning and end of your session.
