Join the Online Family Advisory Board (FAB) with Wiltshire Council's Voice and Participation Service!

We're excited to invite you to be part of the FAB where parents like you can come together to share your thoughts and help make things better. These events are hosted by the Voice and Participation Service from Wiltshire Council, and it's all about hearing from parents who've recieved help from the council, just like you.

What's the Family Advisory Board About?

The FAB is all about giving parents a chance to talk about the help they've received from Wiltshire Council and the impact this has had on your lives good and bad. We want to hear your ideas and use them to make things work even better in the future.

What Will Happen?

Think of the FAB like a meeting where parents can talk and share in a safe space. It's a bit like how school governers watch over schools to make sure they're doing a good job. Here, parents can help watch over the council's family help services and make sure they're doing a good job too.

Why Is This Important?

Your ideas and experiences are really important. We want to learn from you, so we can make the council's support services better and more helpful for families like yours.

What Will We Do?

We'll have friendly conversations and do some activities in small breakout groups. You can tell us what you think, and we'll listen carefully. We want to know what's working, what could be better, and what ideas you have.

Where: We'll meet online. We'll give you a link to click, and you'll be part of the meeting right from your computer or phone.

How Can You Join?

you can sign up on Eventbrite or Just let us know you want to come by emailing childandyouthvoice@wiltshire.gov.uk, and we'll save a spot for you. You don't need to be an expert or use fancy words. We want to hear from you, just the way you are.

Before the FAB meeting, a member of our team will make contact with you to answer any questions you may have and support you to gather your thoughts. If you are not ready to attend in person but would still like your views to be heard we can call you gather your thoughts and share them on your behalf.

Your voice matters, and we're excited to have you be part of this event. Together, we can make things better for families in Wiltshire.
