Family bat walk through Woodbridge green spaces

These events are funded by Woodbridge Town Council for Woodbridge residents to learn a little more about our wonderful, local, wildlife and how to protect it. This walk with Suffolk WIldlife Trust, is aimed at children and families. We will pretend we are bats and explore together, Kingston Fields and Fen Meadow, using bat detectors and echolocation to listen for bats. The event will start in the light and as twilight emerges and the light fades, we hope the bats will come out to feed. The walk is for families, but children will need to be able to walk around Kingston Fields, over to Fen Meadow and back again. We will also learn about what you can do to help bats in your garden as they really do need our help. Meet at Longsfield Cafe in Kingston Fields.
