Family Business Workshop: 'Emergence of the Willing Successor'

Following on from a successful Breakfast Briefing held in 2016, the University of Birmingham Business Club is pleased to announce a workshop to delve deeper into the issues unique to Family Businesses. In particular, we will look at succession planning and financing.
The provisional agenda for the day is as follows:
9.00 – 9.30am Registration
9.30 – 9.40am Welcome and introduction to the workshop

10.00 – 10.20am Prof Francis Greene: “Birth order effects on selecting the successor”
10.20 – 10.40am Chris Romans, PwC
10.40 – 11.00am Dr Natalia Vershinina: “Family firms and the willing successor problem”
11.00 – 11.20am Andrew Guy, PGC
11.30 – 12.30pm Group session
12.30 – 1.30pm Lunch and networking
Lunch will be provided.
This workshop is suitable for family business owners of all sizes operating in any sector. Registration is open to businesses from across the UK.
