Discover the wonders of seaweeds in this introductory session – learn more about them and turn them into beautiful art!
General
Event suitable for ages 6+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets sold as a family group (must include1 adult minimum, maximum of 4 per group).
Location
This event will take place in the Scottish Seabird Centre's Learning Hub but may begin with a short outdoor session to collect and learn about seaweed (weather dependent).
What will we provide?
All materials needed to turn your seaweed into art will be provided.
What do you need to bring?
For the outdoor part of the session, we recommend sturdy boots or shoes, clothing appropriate for the weather outside, a drink, any medication you may need, a mobile phone, sun protection (good weather days).
Accessibility
The outdoor part of the session includes some gentle slopes, uneven sand, rocky ground, and slippy surfaces. We will always try to adjust the pace and the route to make sure that everyone is comfortable, but please let us know in advance if you have questions or concerns.
