About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Other

Scolty Hill is about 20 miles from Aberdeen city centre.

We will all reach there by 10.00am.

We will take a walk to the top of the hill. The climb is fairly strenuous but short, on good paths. Views from the top are superb—on clear days, you can see Aberdeen, the North Sea, Cairngorms, Morven, Hill of Fare and more. It will take about 1-1.5hours. It is about 2 miles.

After the walk we will head to the Banchory park where we can have lunch and play some games. We will all carry packed lunch with us. There is a cafe near Banchory park.

There are no toilets near the Hill. Adjacent to the park in the cafe there is a toilet. There are a couple of public toilets in the park.

Aberdeen Eknath Shaka which is a branch of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh HSS(UK), is organising this as part of fundraising event to raise funds for AHTT Aberdeen Hindu Temple Trust to support their efforts to renovate the temple. Please join us along with family and friends to support this divine cause.

Get active for the walk and to donate.
