Come and spend a morning or afternoon with your children in the plantation learning fun and useful skills to share with them. These days are aimed at young families and are split into morning (09:30 until 12:30) and afternoon (13:30 until 16:30) sessions with 3 workshops per session lead by Simon and James.
Workshop 1: Den building.
Go beyond leaning sticks against trees and learn safe ways of interlocking sticks and how to use a picnic blanket and some string to make a rain shelter or sunshade for those walks in the countrysid.
Workshop 2: Fire lighting.
It's always nice to make a simple fire and toast marshmallows in the garden but not everyone is confident. It's so easy, come and see. Make a fairy house, add a sneezing dragon and it just happens.
Workshop 3: Tracking.
Make a trail, follow a trail and find hidden treasures or interesting items. Great for the garden or parks.
