Every one of us is at a different point in being greener, some have got it sorted but most of us are on a path learning to be greener. This club is a great way to be inspired by the activities and from other families.
Each session we have lots of activities on a particular theme, which changes time. The families love the creativitiy, both children and adults. Underlying themes are about the environment whether it's enjoying it eg in nature or in looking after it eg in upcycling. Where possible all the resources that we use have either been used or rescued from industrial waste.
Cost £2 per child either in cash or card at the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult, it's quite fun to do the activities together!
We will serve refreshments at the start of the club. Sometimes, we have food that was previously waste but, thanks to Ringwood Community Fridge, the food was rescued and then frozen. We then thaw the food ready for the day's group. Please check for allergies.
The club runs after-school until 4.45pm each session.
