About
Learn to love wasps! Discover how wasps are essential to the health of ecosystems at this free creative workshop.
Wasps are often misunderstood but they are incredible animals – master builders, pest controllers and pollinators. In this free arts-based workshop find out how wasps socialise, work together, hunt and enhance ecosystems.
This activity is part of "World of Wasps" a new, free, family-friendly exhibition at the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology. Running from 25 June 2025 to January 2026, the world's first exhibition centred on wasps invites visitors to reconsider these often-misunderstood insects.
Access
The Grant Museum of Zoology is completely accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility from street level via the main museum entrance.
Further information on museum access can be found here.

Can we bring lunch with us?
To protect the Museum's collection, food cannot be eaten inside the venue and only bottled water with a lid can be drunk within the Museum space. There are plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants within 10 minutes walk of the Museum, and if you intend on bringing your own lunch, our staff will be able to point you in the direction of the best place to eat inside (or outside) on campus.
