Overview
Join us to learn what your child’s iPad can do!
Join us to learn what your iPad can do! We'll look at:
- Using the zoom feature to make text larger and easier to read
- Changing the display settings - text size, screen colour etc.
- Setting up Siri so your iPad will talk directly to you
- Setting up other spoken content features, like dictation.
The workshop is held online via Zoom with an experienced Apple trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.
Please note:
- As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for parents and carers who are living in the UK.
- This is a friendly and informal workshop for parents and carers raising a disabled or seriously ill child.
- You’ll need to have an iPad (or an iPhone) to take part in the workshop activities.
- To keep your iPad free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
If you have a question about the workshop, please contact digitalskills@familyfund.org.uk.
