Family Fund VEX coding workshop: My First VEXCode
By Family Fund
Online event
Overview
Join us on a Saturday morning for an online coding workshop using VEXCode where we'll learn block coding and how to make a robot move!
New to VEXCode VR?
Join us in this session to see how we can use block coding to make a robot move. We will explore how we can use blocks of code to move a robot, coding it to do basketball drills and even draw lines!
We’ll be using the free VEXCode website that is available on iPads, Android devices, and laptops.
The workshop is held online via Zoom with an accredited trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.
Please note:
- As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for families who are living in the UK.
- This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person. Siblings are welcome.
- You’ll need to have a device to access the internet to take part in the workshop activities.
- To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
