About this event

Family & Education • Parenting

Join us during Get Online Week to learn how to get the most from your Android tablet.

We will cover:

  • the basic settings, shortcuts, and tips and tricks
  • parental controls to manage how your child uses it
  • accessibility features to customise it for your child's needs

The workshop is held online via Zoom with an experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.

Please note:

  • As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for parents and carers who are living in the UK.
  • This is a friendly and informal workshop for parents and carers raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person.
  • You’ll need to have an android device (such as a Samsung Galaxy tablet) to take part in the workshop activities.
  • To keep your tablet free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.

If you have a question about the workshop, please contact digitalskills@familyfund.org.uk.
