Social stories are a resource, created by Carol Gray in 1991, that help improve social skills and understanding for children and young people with additional needs.
At this workshop we’ll explore how to create a simple visual tool to help your family cope with, and understand, new situations.
We will use Canva to make a social story.
We are holding this workshop online via Zoom. An experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team will be there to support.

- As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for parents and carers who are lving in the UK.
- This is a friendly and informal workshop for parents and carers raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person.
- Canva can be used on any device: iPad, Android tablet, laptop or even a mobile phone.
