About this event
Join our Staying Safe Online workshop where we will look at how we can keep your devices updated, safe and exciting for your children to use, so they can learn and play safely online.
In the workshop, we will cover:
- parental controls and restrictions on both iPads and Android tablets
- monitoring Google activity
- YouTube supervised accounts for families
The workshop is held online via Zoom with an experienced Apple trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.
Please note:
- As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for parents and carers who are living in the UK.
- This is a friendly and informal workshop for parents and carers raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person.
- To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
If you have a question about the workshop, please contact digitalskills@familyfund.org.uk.
