Join our Horticultural Participation Officer Mali Kedward for an outdoor family learning and play session in Sydney Gardens

About this Event

You will learn how to encourage more wildlife to gardens and parks in a practical hands-on way. This session is designed for children aged 5-10 but siblings are welcome. Please contact Mali for more information. Booking essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult or carer.

Meet at the park entrance behind the Holburne Museum by the wooden depot gates.

This training event is part of Sydney Gardening - the gardening events and activities in Sydney Gardens Bath that are part of the National Lottery Heritage Funded Sydney Gardens Project to restore the park (2019-2021).

Accessibility:

The activity will be taking place in a step free environment. There is an accessible toilet as part of the public toilets in the park . Contact the Event Organiser for further information if needed.

Age range:

This activity is aimed at children and families of age 5 years upwards

Toilets:

There are accessible public toilets in Sydney Gardens (20p).

Getting to the park:

You can walk to Sydney Gardens from the City Centre in around 15 minutes.

There are bus stops near the park:

Routes, 11, 64, 94, D1. Also the 734, D3 run near the park

Stops: Holburne Museum, Forester Road, Darlington Road

Parking:

Free parking is available around the edge of the park on Sydney Road (some bays are restricted to 2 hours, some are 4 hours between 8am to 6pm). They are often full, so leave plenty of time to find somewhere to park.
