Description
Are you struggling with a family-related problem? Perhaps you are considering a divorce, are a separated parent who would like to see more of your children, or just feel as though something isn't right and need some guidance on how to make it better?
At such times relationship and family problems can often seem overwhelming, and the world of family law can appear imposing and complicated; often it's hard to know where to begin. Sometimes, you just need to stop, take a step back and consider the options. That's why, in cooperation with local coffee shop Coffee Cakes & Kisses, Beyond Law offer weekly, completely free-of-charge legal surgeries designed to clarify the confusing world of family law, helping you to understand exactly what you would like to achieve and how family law can help you do it. Considered by many to be a calm reprieve away from the rush of central London, you can enjoy a coffee and freshly made cake there while our selection of legal experts help to put your mind at rest.
Each weekly legal surgery will follow a set topic (list below), to include a range of child contact matters, divorce and separation, financial settlements and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. The sessions will involve speeches from our experienced family law solicitors, and you will also have an opportunity to ask questions and to speak to a lawyer one-to-one.
At Beyond Law we are always aware of the emotional impact that family law problems can have; for this reason, our experienced in-house therapist will also be on hand for each legal surgery to discuss the emotional support that is available for you and for your family during what can often be a very difficult time.
Any questions or experiences shared during the sessions will be treated confidentially. All group members will be asked to be respectful of the sensitive nature of the topics involved and our legal and therapeutic professionals always maintain the utmost confidentiality.
