Overview

A eight week course focusing on strategies and skills to develop your confidence and assertiveness.

This is an 8 week course where we will focus on developing strategies and skills to empower you to be more confident and assertive in your life.


Topics covered:

Develop an understanding of the external and internal influences that effect how we feel about ourselves.

Introduce strategies and skills that can support our sense of self-worth and personal development.

Explore the effects of negative thinking and develop problem solving strategies.

Understand the importance of effective communication.

Strengths and goal planning.

Sessions will run from 21st January to 18th March from 10am to 12pm.

This course is delivered by Family Learning as part of Aberdeen City Council and is open to parents living in Aberdeen city.

This ticket is a note of interest. Once you have signed up via Eventbrite, you will be emailed a registration form that you must complete to secure your place on the course.
