About this event

Transition into adulthood for all young people can be an exciting time with new opportunities and choices. However it can also be a worrying time as your child moves from familiar services to face new challenges. This workshop aims to help families with young people with SEND to understand their options, to enable them to help their young person to get the right housing and the right support to be able to live as independently as possible.

Join this Family Matters workshop and hear from Philomena Strollo, Area Manager for Certitude in Hounslow. She will give an insight into the housing options available to young people and what family can expect to happen during this process. The session will aim to cover

  • The Assessment process;
  • What a family can expect;
  • Choosing the right setting for your child;
  • Information about the support offered by Certitude.
