About this event

This workshop is funded for parents and carers of children with SEND based in the London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Hounslow.

Join this Family Matters workshop to hear about how to support siblings of your child with SEND. During the session participants will gain an insight into siblings’ needs and experiences and will also gain ideas for giving siblings attention. Time will also be available for parents to ask any individual questions about their own situations. All participants will receive a follow up handout /activity ideas.

This session will be run by the Sibs. Sibs exists to support people who grow up with or have grown up with a disabled brother or sister. It is the only UK charity representing the needs of over half a million young siblings and over one and a half million adult siblings.
