On this special family-friendly tour, discover how the Abbey is not only a place of worship but also a national space of memory, where over 3,000 people are buried and remembered. For the bravest children (and interested adults!), you’ll hear tales of surprising ends, curious burials, and even an unlucky cat. From plagues to palaces, royals to rebellion, fascinating history is waiting under your feet.
The tour is most suitable for children aged 5+ and will feature stories related to death and burial.
Please book a place for every child in your group. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey. Adults do not need to book a ticket for themselves. If you have any questions you can get in touch with us at families@westminster-abbey.org
Once you have booked, you will receive confirmation from eventbrite, and then we will email you a confirmation from families@westminster-abbey.org with directions nearer the date of your visit.
