About this event

Heritage Charity London has planned a fun and exciting canal walk, starting by Victoria Park and finishing by Mile End Park. We will take you along a beautiful canal path where your child or children can feed the ducks and swans with food provided the charity, make friends with other children, with an amazing opportunity to improve mental and physical health for all!

The charity recognises child engagement, and all children who complete the walk will receive a small prize to foster their positive and healthy life-style choices! There will also be an exciting opportunity for your child to win a larger prize following participation in our scavenge hunt!

This is a wonderful opportunity to get you and your child(ren) out in the fresh air and socialising with other children at the same time. Take this chance to engage in social interaction and connection, build new relationships, and foster a sense of community among other families with children. Walking offers an easy and enjoyable way to gain all-important exercise. This exposure to nature and other families also promotes positive mental health and wellbeing for both adults and your little ones! Don't miss out on this limited opportunity!

This walk will start on Stoneway Walk by Victoria Park, and right next to the Blu Ivy Cafe E3 5SH, where our designated leaders will then take you along the beautiful Regent's Canal offering a blissful escape from the busy borough of Tower Hamlets. Plenty of aquatic wildlife can be seen boasting among a collection of colourful narrowboats, each making their own quirky statement. Children will each have their own personal supply of swan and duck food which they can use to feed any of the aquatic species they see on their way. There are also countless photo opportunities since the entire duration of this walk speaks beauty and picturesce. Finally we will finish the walk by Mile End Park. You will then be free to make your own way on from here. Our walk leaders are guaranteed to ensure your child(ren) have an unbeatable time and enjoy every second of their community walk!

The walk will last around 1 hour, but please allow time in your schedule for little legs!

Children of any age are permitted on this walk.
