Description

FANFARE FOR HOPE brings to life a vision of war and a dream of peace immortalised by WW1 poet Siegfried Sassoon, in a powerful immersive experience of music and digital image projected onto the ancient stones of St Mary's Church, Nottingham. A feast for the senses combining new music from composer David Wilson for voice, piano, four trumpets and percussion, with powerful imagery by award-winning digital artist Barret Hodgson, and performed by baritone Geoff Williams and John Keys, Director of Music, St Mary's. The programme includes a special feature of poetry, memory and music from Nottingham Black Archive and poet, Panya Banjoko.

Bar with themed cocktails.

This year, Nottingham Peacebuilders concert is pleased to support Maggie's Centre, Nottingham
