Farleigh Castle Vets MX 2025

The OG Vets Event is back for 2025!

11th - 14th September

Since its inception in 2009, the Farleigh Castle Vets MX event has been a beloved fixture on the UK motocross calendar for riders across the UK and beyond. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the historic Somerset circuit, this annual event delivers thrilling evo racing with the sights and sounds of two strokes at every turn alongside a true celebration of MX culture, creating unforgettable memories for participants and spectators alike.

It is a nostalgic and incredibly popular motocross race weekend using ‘vintage’ 1980’s, 1990's and 2000's era machines with race classes for two stroke and twinshock bikes.

The event is a firm favourite with the riders and the fans, which sees riders compete from all over the world and attracts many a former pro rider too!

Keep your eyes peeled as we have many new and returning riders to be announced in the run up to the event!

With 10 classes per block and 60 riders on the line per race there is plenty of racing action for all.

The weekend starts when the gates open at 12 noon on Thursday, September 11th.

There is plenty to do before the racing action commences, including time to meander through the trade village, open paddocks, catch up with friends and on track rivals, bag yourself some event merch, do a track walk, and feast your eyes on the array of two strokes and twin shocks lovingly restored.

With the gate dropping on the racing action on Saturday morning, racers, young and not so young, past and present will take to the sixty strong line-up to go bar to bar just like the good old days of mx scrambling.

FRIDAY 12TH

• 9.30AM - 1PM AND 2PM - 6PM SCRUTINEERING IN THE BEER TENT
• 7PM LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

SATURDAY 13TH

• 9.00AM PRACTICE FOLLOWED BY FULL RACE SCHEDULE
• 7PM IN THE BEER TENT RIDER INTERVIEWS WITH ROGER WARREN
• FOLLOWED BY LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE BEER TENT

SUNDAY 14TH

• 9.00AM FULL DAYS RACING BEGINS
• LUNCHTIME RIDER PARADE
• RIDERS PRESENTATION FOLLOWING THE LAST RACE
• EVENT CLOSE - ALL VEHICLES OFF SITE BY 8PM
