Farm walk and talk around planting trees on your land

Join us for an informative talk about woodland and agroforestry on your farm, followed by a farm walk with farmer Rachel Hall to see agroforestry in practice.

Run by FCG in conjunction with Sarah Warrener and Eleanor Marks from the Forestry Commission, the event will cover grant funding available for tree planting, benefits of woodland and agroforestry to you, and cover a little about the planting process and ongoing maintenance for trees.

After lunch (provided by us), we will join Rachel Hall on her farm to have a look at agroforestry in practice, how she has implemented it on her farm. This will be the ideal time to ask any questions you have about the benefits and drawbacks of the system and consider if it could be of interest to you.

Whether you have decided you want trees on your land or only vaguely thought about it, this event is for you! There are only 20 places available for this event, so secure yours now.
