About this event

Farming at the Crossroads: a new model for landlord/tenant relationships post-Brexit?

Traditional landlord/tenant relationships are unlikely to suit new, long-term public goods delivery agreements (biodiversity net gain, habitat restoration, tree-planting, carbon) and we will need to think about new models that enable both landowners and tenant farmers to share the benefits of private and public funds on offer.

This Farming at the Crossroads session will bring farmers and professionals together to explore alternative models, look at barriers to collaboration and discuss how we can move things forward within current legislative constraints.

Join us for a breakfast roll from 8am. Then, to help kick start our discussion we’ll have a couple of short, sharp contributions from some experts in their field, briefed to tell us how they see things from their perspective (the market place, values, risks, opportunities, legal considerations). We aim to have finished by around 10:00am, when we’ll be around for a while for coffee and a chat.

Please do come along and share your views at what promises to be a lively and informative session.
